It works better the other way around:
Everyone to the right of U is Meshugah, everyone to the left of U is FRei.
Awesome quote! But in your opinion, is wearing pants too modern (for a girl) ? I keep shabbos, kashruth, and daven 3x daily...but I still wear pants. Can I still call myself frum? LOL.
Anyone can call themselves frum as long as you dont belong to a conservative shul.

For your friend:
FR is to the left and M is to the right.
Good way to remember is to look at your hands and on whichever hand the thumb and the index finger form an L, that is your left hand. If you need to do this and are older than 4, the L also stands for loser.
