and the term "camel toe" is used too much with... what bricktop said.
They make tennis shoes like this, and have for a while now. I think they're Nikes? I could be wrong.
Not saying I like them. They're pretty hideous and seem like they'd be super weird on the toes.

Meh, they stole it from shinobi (ninja). Ninja have been wearing split toe (tabi) shoes and socks for ages. Japanese in general still wear the split toe socks.
