The "skant" used to be known as the "skort" back in my day... Had to wear them for gym class.
How is a skant (or skort) different than a culotte?
i think those words are all synonymous.
but personally, i got excited when i thought i saw the word 'skank' on a frummie site!
I expected a garment called a "skant" to be much shorter.

I think the skant is actually quite functional and fashionable-
I wore it on the treadmill and it is the most comfortable garment I ever wore for speed walking-
I recommend it to everyone I know-
can't wait to bike ride in it in the spring!
I agree....I recently ordered two for my sister and I enjoyed it tremendously in my aerobics and workout. It REALLY looks like a skirt and it is very comfortable. Kudos to Aqua Modesta for making such a a fabulous item!
