Worth a listen - a ModOrth wins Israeli Idol

Boaz Mauda (בועז מעודה‎) won the fifth season of Kokhav Nolad (the Israeli American Idol) and came in 9th place at the 2008 Eurovision Awards. Boaz was born and raised in Moshav Elyakim, where he still lives. He is the youngest son of his mother, who became disabled from complications of his birth. He is a Yeminite Modern Orthodox Jew.
