It does happen that people run out of ideas, or don't have time to open up the cookbook and try something new. Or sometimes new guests come and you know there is that one dish that everyone loves so you don't want to chance messing something up. Sometimes kugel as a side dish doesnt get eaten but a lot of the time the sweet cake type dishes do (but not by my husband who refuses to eat cake before dessert).
Just standing up for the minority here. Just an idea, maybe you can come up with some fun things, type it up and slide it under the door of the host you might be eating by.Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02585683496627823656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594551858000480911.post-29571701554243534062009-03-05T11:20:00.000-05:002009-03-05T11:20:00.000-05:00Word on the kugel.Moshe, I sometimes make recipes ...Word on the kugel.

Moshe, I sometimes make recipes out of novels.Dinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12731938906343025989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594551858000480911.post-16023488475808045482009-03-04T18:14:00.001-05:002009-03-04T18:14:00.001-05:00Moshe-How did the curry turn out?Moshe-
How did the curry turn out?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594551858000480911.post-83825397332841479672009-03-04T18:14:00.000-05:002009-03-04T18:14:00.000-05:00Moshe-How did the curry turn out?Moshe-
How did the curry turn out?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594551858000480911.post-2653791178277382302009-03-04T12:29:00.000-05:002009-03-04T12:29:00.000-05:00I never even look in cookbooks. I always wait until after I'm finished eating all the "real" food before taking the apple, squash, or cranberry kugel.

To me those kugels are a warm-up for dessert:)Squeakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17454956875107417734noreply@blogger.com
